Hi Peter,
Yes I had a great talk with Marc in Germany.
I demonstrated the application and the platform and found it interesting, he realized the potential for what he can create from the music side/and he may want to introduce
other musicians to use the technology, so when that happens it will be great
So I will wait and see when he gets back.
Meanwhile, I really don't want to delay much for us both.
So for now lets start collaborating and creating collectively.
So here we go,
I am now introducing you to Sebastian Roberts, co founder of www.wegotskillz.org
he is young talented leader, currently in Uganda setting things with me for ALL of Africa and global.
He is the MOST important decision person with me for designing all the youth/children
projects from event and production side of the things.
Seb sits on the BOA for Heart In Action Ent, he together with myself and two other
young professionals founded WGS-GV a youth division of Heart In Action Enterprises.
All initiatives collectively will now be sitting under one platform called We Got Skillz Global Voice.
We are spearheading www.wegotskillz.org and we will be inviting all children/youth related projects/groups to join HIAE/WGS platform.
We will provide the interactive secured multimedia communication application.
This way collectively we can create a larger support team to attract the right sponsors/funders from covering all production/data bandwidth costss as we design
the events starting 2009.
WGS will spear head and connect all youth organization, children, music, educational/global issues/peace/humanitarian,arts etc based projects.
Each group joining the platform and can contribute be it
time/$$/pr/marketing etc.
So I am thinking if we created a url link for KidCast for Peace
We will provide you with the application under Wegotskillz - Hawaii
the tile of the room will say Creativity Kids Multicast you will be the
host/with us
. meaning you will have your on application
and create projects with us from Hawaii.
How does this sound, for you.
It sounds feasible given I know next to nothing about what you are offering?
Thanks for the forward momentum. I would like to see your tools in action. We should probably hook up to test and discuss things using your tools? I am pretty sure Breeze is something like what we used for Global Learn Day:

About the branding: What I say to folks is that the official title of the project is "KidCast for Peace: Solutions for a Better World" and THAT is what the project should (IMHO) be called (rather than Creativity Kids Multicast).
After initially using the whole project name in press releases, on the web, etc., it is then ok within body copy to shorten the project name to just "KidCast for Peace." The idea being that KidCast for Peace is a bit vague, unless stated up front that the project is about connecting kids and other "peers for peace" via live video conferencing. The objective is to interactively share and discuss creatively communicated "solutions" while providing a "portal" for live interactive sharing and pointing to (pushing URLs) Web sites showing the scanned, high resolution offerings of the kids involved who hold paintings up to the camera - be they images of drawings they made, sound collages (i.e radio plays), theater skits, etc., that can be performed live.
Therefore, "KidCast for Peace: Solutions for a Better World, or KidCast for Peace Portal would be my suggestions for Web page headlines... with a subtitle that might read: "a tele-activity and 'Peace Portal' to give young people a loud voice in shaping their future world and positively influence the world they will inherit."
Although the project is a core Creativity Cafe edutainment technology (that's where the Creativity Cafe branding comes in), I try to keep CCafe out of the branding - to allow focus on the project itself rather than the parent organizations (Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services - V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media and Creativity Cafe).
We might say something like KidCast for Peace: Solutions for a Better World, is a Creativity Cafe Edutainment project, produced by V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media in association with Wegotskillz/Heart in Action Ent.
FYI, Creativity Cafe's KidCast for Peace: Solutions for a Better World Multicast (and Peace Portal) takes me four-five months from pre to post production and includes this task list:

The application will be ready in a few days, once this is ready we can
then give you a quick training and go over everything.
Seb/myself are already planning to create an event for next year.
We just completed an event on Dec 3rr where we connected four cities
with youth.
So lets brain storm now.
Lets speak once the screen is ready and then brainstorm ways to
attract the right sponsors with $$$$ to support all the projects
peace
Ashie
I am looking forward to connecting with you to see exactly what you are offering. Thanks for your interest!
Blessings and Peace,
Peter

No apologies needed. All in good time. I heard from Marc in Germany
that you and he were in touch! Yea! I hope you get to some time to
relax and remember to take a break (and some deep breaths)!
I look forward to our collective conference focusing on creative
content for kids and learning to work with each other
collaboratively. I feel honored that you will take the time to
assist with KidCast for Peace. I have loads of materials created for
the project and fundraising ideas for local nodes to use in their
communities.
A good place to start educating folks about the project is with the
site I created at the peak of the project in 2003-5 with press
materials, a fact sheet, fundraising tools and some press clippings:

This is a big step for me. It means committing to letting the project rule me once again. The only reason I am doing this is because there are others willing to help manage the resources, promote the projects and organize other nodes. :-)
