This went out yesterday to select people in our network here on Maui. I suggest that you participate fully from where ever you are located, and help to ensure that our future generations will live in a peace filled world... in love and harmony. Please spread the world. If so, please...HAVE YOUR CHILDREN BEGIN TO MAKE PEACE ART TO MOUNT ON A WEB PAGE AND BRING TO THE INTERNET VIDEOCONFERENCE. BEGIN ASAP. You can use public access TV equipment to document your submisson and for making your own TV show so the kids SOLUTIONS can be broadcast locally in your area. Here on Maui, I have reserved Feb 4th at 9am to have kids in the studio of Akaku MAUI COMMUNITY ACCESS TV for the taping of our KidCast for Peace TV show and to offer an invitation for the local community (& AT LARGE) to participate live in April. We would like Kids from Unity and Iao School to participate on Camera -- as well as a few chosen adults; who will be invited to share their vision through art, music, song, dance, story, etc, of how we might make this a better world. The main idea transmitted by the children last year was TOLERANCE. We will then invite as many as possible to participate with Children and Adults on Earth Day at KIDCAST CENTRAL and various nodes around the world where children and adults have gathered for the gathering of Youth and their peers. We will host a live series of Internet videoconference hookups with children in schools, at home and in cyber cafes who will be sharing interactively with local and global peers their visions of peace in several video conferences on Earth Day: April 22. Please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss the particulars and coordinate your efforts. Locally we need to raise $500 to complete this TV program. $200 for videotape and editing, and $300 to pay for the Studio crew for one day of preparation designing the set, doing the lighting design, setting up the credits, supers, and sound and other technical stuff all on Feb 3 from 3pm to 9p. And then to be available on Feb 4, when we will actually do the taping with the children in the Studio of Akaku. The crew of six will be need for 10 hours total. Please let me know if you can help raise the necessary funds and/or if you can participate in the taping Feb 4th from 9am to 1pm? I suggest picking 6 kids from Iao School and 6 from Unity. The most creative, outspoken, demonstrative, etc. to be featured in the tv show and on Earth Days activities. All donations to V.A.R.I.O.U.S. are fully tax deductible. Contributions can be sent to: Founder: KidCast For Peace; Solutions for a Better World & Copies of this request have been delivered to those on Maui involved with Youth in the hope they might respond and participate as well, both at the taping, and on Earth Day.
