This Creativity Cafe Community forum entry should help to clarify our foundation and mission.

By virtue of being a creative person and making contact with us (at this point) you ARE A MEMBER of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services (V.A.R.I.O.U.S.). If you believe in what we are doing and would like to contibute, you are welcome to make a monetary donation or other contribution. Please send to

Below are a few links that represent my activities to ground V.A.R.I.O.U.S. projects. We are grateful to our members who have volunteered their time, resources and energies to make these examples of potential "Creativity Cafe Content" viable. We especially thank the many individuals, corporations and organizations who have supported our activities over the past twenty plus years that I have been seeking to implement a permanant Creativity Cafe Artists Networking Salon (and franchise), specifically since July 11th, 1980 [http://creativity.net/wwwboard/messages/740.shtml].

I feel my path is to brand and manifest Creativity Cafe as a new meeting ground for cultural creatives, artists and scientists, young and old alike whose desired is to be furthered on their path toward more meaning, fulfillment, health, love, creativity, personal expression and liberation in life.

We need your assistance in grounding a physical network of public/private nightclub and day-clubs (Storytelling CyberTheaters) to address the needs of the general public, business and especially creative people who gather to cooperatively entertain live and cyber audiences, educate, facilitate the expression of, nurture and market creative talent in everyone, and their creative works via live shows, interactive theater, cyber shinanagans, light and sound extravaganza's and pronoic [http://creativity.net/pronoia.html] service to the digerati, the newbie, the physically and emotionally challenged person, and/or those stuck in an old world mentality (as the "New Awareness World" rapidly accelerates its birthing process).

Creativity Cafe is a proposed community-at-large neighborhood hang out offering local and global positive energy anchors, and inspirational edutainment experiences and broadcasts... A positive media center producing and distributing mass media that helps empower everyone to heal, painlessly evolve and get back in touch with their inner child. A place for all creatives to play for pay and to find resources and friends that further ones personal path! Creativity Cafe is a Networking Salon, Artists (of life) Resource Center and Community Communication Consortium...that seeks your input and association!

Peter H. Rosen is a multimedia artist, interactive event producer and visionary. He founded Visionary Artists' Resources Including Other Unique Services (V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media) in 1980 to build a high tech artists' resource center (now called Creativity Cafe) for exploring the use of art and technology for educational entertainment, healing and global community empowerment.

He directed a 1983 prototype including the world's first video disk recorder programmed as an Image Storage and Retrieval System for contemporary art. Peter has received awards for his"KidCast For Peace; Solutions For a Better World" teleactivity, featured at the prestegious SIGGRAPH International computer graphics convention.

His careers include radio program host, broadcast television cameraman for the ABC Television Network, recording engineer, photographer, music teacher, electronics technician, computer graphics artist, web site designer and interactive event producer (live and cyberspace). As a coordinator at the California Museum of Science and Industry's "Creative Computer" exhibit from 1985-87, he taught computer graphics to artists, school groups and visitors.

In 1989, Mr. Rosen initiated the Arts for Social Change awards to recognize artists using technology for a better world. He currently is developing Creativity Cafe (http://creativity.net ) and (http://creativity.com)--an educational entertainment venue, and community communication/resource center where the creative tools of today can support the storytellers and leaders of tomorrow. He may be reached via email: peter@creativity.net. Mr. Rosen lives on Maui Hawaii.

He is currently focusing his energies on personal expression; recording an album of his songs (calling on skills as a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, songwriter and recording engineer), and compiling a book of photography featuring his Spirit Body Process all-in-camera light painting (http://creativity.net/phr/spiritbody.html). Peter currently directs, produces and hosts a local Cable Television program entitled "The Maui Artists' Showcase" as he continues dancing his dreams awake.
